1. When and where will Model ASEAN Summit in Da Nang 2019 be held?

A: Model ASEAN Summit 2019 will be held on 05th – 06th October at University of Foreign Language Studies – The University of Da Nang

2. Am I eligible to apply as a delegate?

A: You are eligible to apply if you are:

• from 16-25 years old

• proficient in English (especially Speaking and Writing skills)

• interested in ASEAN political, economic and socio-cultural issues

• committed to be active and proactive during 2-day conference

• willing to cooperate and open to ideas from other delegates and delegations 

• available to participate in the conference.

3. How can I apply as a delegate?

A: If you meet the requirements to apply as a delegate, kindly fill in the online registration form at bit.ly/MAS2019ApplicationForm

4. How is the selection process to be the selected delegate for joining MAS 2019?

A: You need to fill out the online registration form via our website (masindanang.wixsite.com/masdn). Then you will be informed whether you pass the application round (1st round) or not. For those who pass the 1st round will be announced for an interview (2nd round) which evaluates your ability to present and defend your ideas on a given topic. The finalists will be informed through emails a week before the official conference date.

5. How much is the registration fee?

A: There is no registration fee. It’s absolutely FREE

6. What are the facilities that will be provided by the MAS Organizing Committee?

A: MAS will provide tea breaks, lunches, conference materials during the conference days.

7. I am available to attend only one day. Is that possible?

A: No. It is not possible. You are required to attend all sessions and programs for two days of the conference

​

8. How many delegates will be selected?

A: We will select 57 delegates ranging from 16 to 25 years old.

9. Do I have to prepare research paper to register for MAS 2019?

A: The research paper is required only for those who are successfully selected as delegates. If you are selected, we will send you guidelines for the position paper via email.
